ABOUT ME
Nira Goyal is an undergraduate student at the University of Pennsylvania with a strong interest in mental health advocacy and public health. At Penn, she engages deeply with issues around emotional well-being and stigma reduction, building on her experience founding Teen Mental Reset Inc., a youth-focused mental health initiative.
In the Barzi Lab, Nira contributes to research projects centered on pediatric mental health through literature review, participant engagement, and analytic support. Her position in the lab is supported by CURF grant funding. She plans to pursue further training in research and public health, with a long-term goal of advancing equitable mental health outcomes. Outside of academics, Nira advocates for mental health awareness and enjoys connecting with peers through community outreach and wellness initiatives.
