Ben Sheffield

Benjamin Sheffield is an undergraduate student at the University of Pennsylvania, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Health & Societies with a concentration in Public Health and a certificate in Spanish Language. He is interested in the intersection of pediatric health, health equity, and population-based research.
In the Barzi Lab, Benjamin supports research focused on pediatric mental health outcomes through literature review, data organization, and analytic preparation. His work in the lab is supported by CURF grant funding. Outside of research, he is actively involved in community health initiatives and serves as a teaching artist with CityStep Penn, where he teaches dance to elementary school students.
