In 2017 Sara graduated from Villanova University with a bachelor's of science degree in Biology and Spanish. Sara is currently a medical student within the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and is expected to graduate in the Spring of 2023. Sara started her research in the lab in the beginning of 2022.
