Kate received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Ho Chi Minh City Medicine and Pharmacy University in Vietnam in 2012. She then received her Masters of Public Health from Oregon State University in 2017. Throughout her time as a graduate student, Kate worked on multiple research projects as a graduate research assistant at Oregon State University and then as a graduate research intern at Samaritan Health Services. After graduating, Kate continued her research career working at the Oxford University Clinical Research Unit, where she led the data analysis of multiple research projects. Broadly, Kate is interested in studying gene x environment interactions, and within the Barzi Lab she will be working on various projects, including linking exposome to genome and phenome in ABCD and PNC datasets.
