Cait received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame and completed a post-baccalaureate research fellowship at Drexel University’s Center City Clinic for Behavioral Medicine before returning to Notre Dame and completing her M.A. in Clinical Psychology. Caite's research interests broadly focus on cognitive, emotional, and interpersonal risk factors suicidality and other high-risk behaviors. Caite is particularly interested in the roles of executive function, emotion reactivity/regulation, and interpersonal stressors (e.g., stigma, social marginalization, interpersonal conflict) in the etiology and maintenance of maladaptive coping strategies.
